Can adults join Kennergy Studio’s K-pop dance classes with no experience?

Yes. Kennergy Studio welcomes adult beginners in Singapore, including people who have never danced before. Instructors break K-pop choreography into clear, manageable steps and teach at a supportive pace. If you are unsure which song or format to choose, contact us for guidance before booking.

What is the difference between an Open Class and a Full Song Course?

An Open Class is a one-off, one-hour K-pop dance session focused on an iconic section of a song, such as the chorus or dance break. A Full Song Course teaches the complete choreography, with lesson tutorials and a finale video. Courses usually run for five weeks, but may be shorter or longer depending on the song. Where are Kennergy Studio’s K-pop classes held in Singapore?

Kennergy Studio’s permanent address is 1 Jalan Berseh, #02-27A New World Centre, Singapore 209037. Booking is required before attending. Check your class booking details for the confirmed venue.

Our customer-facing hours are 9am to 10pm daily. The studio is accessible 24 hours; class and session times follow the booking schedule.

How do I find and book an adult K-pop class?

Booking is required before attending. Start on the Kennergy Studio Classes page to view Open Classes and Full Song Courses. Choose a song and format, check the dates and booking details, then follow the booking or enrolment steps shown. If the next intake is not listed, ask us about upcoming classes.

What should I wear to a K-pop dance class?

Wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear that allow you to move freely. Please arrive on time so you can follow the lesson from the start. See our class terms and conditions for attendance and preparation guidance.

How do you choose the K-pop songs taught in class?

Open Class songs are selected by the instructor, with priority given to popular and trending recent releases. The song is usually announced about one week before class. For Full Song Courses, the instructor considers student poll results, the song’s popularity and how recently it was released.

Will videos be taken during K-pop classes?

Yes. Videos are taken during Open Classes. Full Song Courses include a class video each week and a finale video at the end. Students are encouraged to dress up for the finale, and we usually record four group takes with rotating rows. If you do not wish to appear in promotional photos or videos, please inform the instructor before class, as explained in our terms and conditions.

Do you offer private or corporate dance classes in Singapore?

02 Full Song Courses

Learn a complete K-pop choreography over several weeks, with tutorials to support your practice.

How long is a Full Song Course, and when are lessons held?

A Kennergy Studio Full Song Course usually runs for five weeks, with one-hour lessons on weekday evenings from Monday to Thursday. Courses may be shorter or longer depending on the song’s length and choreography. Check the current course listing for the exact dates, lesson count and venue.

How much does a K-pop Full Song Course cost?

Full Song Course fees are S$21 per one-hour lesson. A usual five-lesson course costs S$105. The total fee varies with the number of lessons, as courses may be shorter or longer depending on the song. Detailed tutorials are provided after each lesson. Check the fee and lesson count for your chosen course on the Classes page before enrolling.

What happens if I miss a Full Song Course lesson?

You can catch up using the lesson tutorial. A make-up may also be possible in another class covering the same lesson for the same song, subject to availability and the instructor’s prior approval. Up to two make-up lessons are allowed per course, excluding the final lesson. Full course fees still apply, and your place cannot be transferred to another person.

How do make-up lessons work?

A make-up must cover the same lesson you missed, for the same song. For example, if you miss Lesson 2, you may attend Lesson 2 in another class if available and approved by the instructor. Make-ups replace missed content, not simply the number of lessons attended. Contact us to check an arrangement before attending another class.

Will we follow the idols’ exact formations and individual parts?

Not exactly. Most of the class dances together because class sizes differ from the original group. The instructor may assign solos, layered sections or small-group parts when appropriate, and every variation will be taught clearly.

Do I need to practise the choreography at home?

Home practice is encouraged because it makes learning smoother and more enjoyable, but it is not compulsory. Use the lesson tutorials to revisit steps at your own pace. You are still welcome to attend weekly lessons even if you cannot practise between classes.

Can I withdraw from a Full Song Course or get a refund?

Withdrawal and refund eligibility depend on timing and the course’s class size. Please read the Full Song Courses section of our refund and cancellation policy before enrolling, and contact us about your booking if your plans change.

03 Open Classes

Try a one-off K-pop session and learn an iconic chorus or dance break from a song you love.

How much is an Open Class at Kennergy Studio?

A one-hour Open Class uses one credit. A single credit costs S$18 and is valid for two months. The 10-credit package costs S$170, equivalent to S$17 per class, and is valid for six months. Open Class credits do not apply to Full Song Courses. View current Open Class credit packages before purchasing.

When and where are K-pop Open Classes held?

Open Classes are usually held on Saturdays at 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. Our permanent studio is at 1 Jalan Berseh, #02-27A New World Centre, Singapore 209037. Check your booking details for the confirmed venue. Sessions are scheduled on an ad hoc basis, so these are usual times rather than a guaranteed weekly timetable. Do Open Classes teach the full K-pop song?

No. Each Open Class teaches an iconic section, usually the chorus or dance break, in one hour. The selected section is shared on Instagram Stories two days before class. Choose a Full Song Course if you want to learn the complete choreography over several weeks.

Can I share my Open Class credit package with friends?

Yes. You may use your 10-credit package to book for yourself and up to four friends in one transaction. The package stays under the purchaser’s account. If the number of participants changes, you may cancel the original booking and book again, subject to the cancellation policy and available places.

Can I cancel an Open Class booking?

Cancellation and refund conditions apply, including a non-refundable period less than 24 hours before the class start time. Please read the Open Classes section of our refund and cancellation policy for the full conditions and any applicable fees. Contact us for help with a specific booking.

Can I pay for Open Classes with Apple Pay or PayNow?

Yes. Select HitPay at checkout to pay with Apple Pay or PayNow. You can view the available credits on our Open Class pricing page.

05 Studio Booking

Booking time in Studio K and Studio J, wallet funds and cancellation refunds.

Where can I book a dance studio in Singapore?

Kennergy Studio offers hourly dance studio rental at 1 Jalan Berseh, #02-27A New World Centre, Singapore 209037. Book Studio K for group rehearsals or Studio J for solo practice and private sessions through our Studio Booking page. Availability is shown online.

How much does studio booking cost?

Studio K costs S$50 per hour off-peak and S$60 per hour at peak times. Studio J costs S$20 per hour off-peak and S$30 per hour at peak times. Peak times are weekdays from 6pm to midnight, all weekends and Singapore public holidays. Bookings crossing rates are priced in 15-minute portions; your total is shown before confirmation.

What booking durations and start times are available?

Book for at least one hour and up to 12 hours, adding time in 30-minute blocks. Start times are available every 15 minutes, subject to availability. Studio access is available 24 hours for confirmed bookings. Customer-facing hours are 9am to 10pm daily. All times are in Singapore time. Check studio availability.

How do I cancel a studio booking, and what refund will I receive?

Cancel through Your studio bookings on the Studio page. At least 72 hours before your start time: full wallet refund. At least 48 but less than 72 hours before: 50% wallet refund. Less than 48 hours before: no refund, including within 24 hours and no-shows.

What happens exactly at the 72-hour and 48-hour cutoffs?

We measure from when your cancellation is received to your booked start time, using Singapore time. Exactly 72 hours qualifies for a full refund; exactly 48 hours qualifies for a 50% refund. Submit your cancellation before the relevant cutoff.

Will my refund go back to my bank account or Studio Wallet?

Eligible studio booking refunds return automatically to your Studio Wallet. The refunded amounts keep the expiry dates attached to the funds used, including any top-up renewal already applied. Cancellation itself does not extend expiry. Funds that have already expired cannot be used. Wallet funds are not cash withdrawals.

How do Studio Wallet top-ups and expiry work?

Sign in to your Kennergy account and top up from S$20 through HitPay. Each successful top-up combines with your remaining balance and renews your entire unexpired wallet balance for six months from the top-up date. Expired funds are not reactivated. For example, S$80 expiring tomorrow plus a successful S$20 top-up becomes S$100 valid for six months from the new top-up date. Studio Wallet funds are for studio booking and cannot be withdrawn as cash. Check your balance and expiry dates in Studio Wallet.

Do I need to switch off the lights and air-conditioning before leaving?

You are responsible for switching off all lights and air-conditioning before leaving. If the air-conditioning is left on overnight, a S$30 charge applies. Please respect the facilities and leave the studio tidy. See our Terms & Conditions.

Does this cancellation policy apply to dance classes too?

No. This policy applies to Studio K and Studio J bookings. Open Classes and Full Song Courses have their own policies. Please read the relevant section of our Terms & Conditions.

06 The #HappinessMovement

A joyful, evidence-informed experience that turns positive psychology into shared movement and meaningful connection.

What happens during a #HappinessMovement session?

In a 60–90-minute session, participants explore a clear idea grounded in positive psychology, experience it through joyful and accessible movement, and bring everything together in a short filmed Reel about how their organisation brings happiness to the world. No dance experience is required—only curiosity and a willingness to take part.

What is the psychology behind The #HappinessMovement?

The #HappinessMovement is grounded in positive psychology and brings three important sources of happiness into a shared experience: connection, contribution and joyful movement. Participants do not simply hear these ideas—they feel and practise them together through movement.

How is this different from a typical dance workshop?

A typical dance workshop focuses mainly on choreography, technique and performance. The #HappinessMovement combines positive psychology, accessible movement and human-centred facilitation to create shared energy, connection and meaning. The focus is participation and experience, not dancing perfectly.

How does the filming work?

A professional videographer captures natural moments of movement, laughter and connection during the session, together with brief reflections from selected participants or leaders. We then create a short highlight Reel and share it with your organisation for review before it is published and tagged. The approved Reel may also be shared through your internal channels, LinkedIn or event screens.

What outcomes can our organisation expect?

The session is designed to leave participants feeling energised, uplifted and more connected. Teams experience positive psychology in a memorable, embodied way and create a shared moment that can continue through future gatherings, wellbeing activities and celebrations.

What should participants wear or prepare?

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and shoes that allow them to move freely. Teams are welcome to coordinate colours, wear company attire or dress to a shared theme. No dance experience or special preparation is needed—we provide the music, facilitation and filming.

How much does participation cost?

Each experience is tailored to the organisation’s team size, location, goals and filming requirements. The participation fee covers positive psychology facilitation, dance instruction, music, filming, editing and event coordination. Please contact us so we can understand your needs and recommend the most suitable arrangement.

Can our organisation continue using the choreography after the session?

Yes. Your team will receive a tutorial video so you can continue practising and using the choreography at company celebrations, team activities, wellbeing days or other internal events. When you share it, please tag #HappinessMovement so we can celebrate how your team continues to spread happiness.

What music is used for The #HappinessMovement?

The #HappinessMovement uses an original song produced by Kennergy Studio. The song is refreshed each year so the movement continues to evolve while retaining its shared spirit. You can listen to Kennergy Studio on Spotify.
